Juliette - A-Line Skirty or Skirted Soaker

This wee gem (designed by Tia Novick) is the A-line version of the Juliette (I can also knit the ruffled version which also features at Coco Kids). It can be knitted either with or without a soaker underneath.

The one pictured is a medium which I knitted for my 5 month old niece. The idea was that it would be able to used for at least a couple of winters, that it'll still fit for next winter with some little leggings underneath. I puposely knitted this without the soaker so it can be worn with tights or leggings.

This one features 2 rows of eyelet detailing, as well as a picot edging and 2 separate rows of the pink to tie in the colour of the top waist band. All of these can be tailored to your taste, the picot edging can also be swapped for a little ruffle rather than the full pleats of the ruffled Juliette

I also knit a matching Confection Shrug to go with this (again, I am able to knit Confection Shrugs for custom orders)

Those Needles Are Buzzing

Man! It's all go at the moment on the knitting front! I've got a billion and one things that I am trying to knit my way through - but one project I have to finish before Christmas is my hubby's socks. I HAVE to finish them so that he continues to be ok with the amount of time I spend knitting! But also, I knitted him some slippers for his birthday that he just loves and that helped him to appreciate my knitting, so socks should be appreciated too.

Here's the pic of the yarn - it's actually not anything like I thought it would/should be and so really it can only ever be socks for Blair. It's 100purewool fingering weight superwash.

It was meant to be

BUT since knitting 20cms worth  of one leg in 3 x 1 rib, I've found out that it's not really sock yarn, so will be trying to knit woolly nylon with it while doing the toes and heels to ensure that they last as long as possible.

The only thing is - it breaks my just one work in progress plan as I can only knit these when he's not home....so I am trying to snatch moments when kids are asleep or when I am at my knitting night to get them done.

I also have knit a number of other items lately for custom knits. These are winging their way to the UK as I type for a wee girls Chrissie present.

What a cutey! Ok, if I do say so myself! Wish I had had one of these for Penny years ago though! I think she would've got a lot of wear out of one this size.

This wee gem (which comprises of a combined patter of Tia Novick and Kelly Brookers Vanilla) can be knitted either with or without a soaker underneath and either in this full and pleated version, or in a straight A-line version. The one pictured is a medium which fits both my 10 month, 10 kilo babe with chucky thighs (with a nappy) and my 12 kilo, 2 1/2 year old without a nappy (though in saying that as she would wear a nappy the same size as my 10 month old it would probably fit fine with that as well)

This one is knitted as a skirty soaker, it completely covers the bottom and nappy or underwear. I think for my 2 1/2 year old for spring I'll knit her a skirty without the soaker part - I am able to knit either option for you.

This is knitted in variegated The Wool Company yarn - they have a good range of both slid and matching variegated colour yarns that I am happy to knit with if you'd like.
