There's really nothing like both being given and giving a carefully handknit item. And I'm sure you know already - but gorgeous woollen handknits are the height of fashion for babes at the moment, as well as being really practical. Pop a little knitted item on your child and just see how many comments you get!
I normally suggest customers choose yarns from The Wool Company or Bendigo Woollen Mills. There is a slight price difference between the two but both offer great choice as well as affordability. For more yarn information scroll to the bottom of this page.

Roaring Meg - a perfect cardigan for spring, autumn and winter. Cute and cosy with short sleeves so your little girl can play without long sleeves hindering her movement. The blue one on the left is a modified version with capped sleeves and moss stitch detail rather than the garter stitch ridges and edging. I'm happy to provide either option. Available for me to knit for you in sizes newborn, 6mths, 12mths, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 years
Poppy Hats - This delightful flapper-style hat is the perfect accessory to the Roaring Meg cardigan. As it's design is similar to the Aviatrix Hat, it can be worn by both girls and boys (knit in a beanie style minus the flap and buttons). Available in sizes newborn to approximately 12 years
In Plume Shrugs - A delightful woollen layer when the warm nights start to cool in summer as well as great for daytime wear autumn and spring. A special one of a kind item for a gift or Christening
Milo Vests - sizes NB - 6 years. A simple seamless vest knit in the round from the top down. A deviation from the classic vest; boxy, funky and relaxed. Choose from 5 different cable styles and a variety of colours.
Kids Handwarmers - Such a practical item! Great for kids at kindy, or to wear in the stroller or car while still being able to suck their thumb/fingers. $12 a pair, or $16 including courier.
Helena Jackets - These gorgeous lacy cardies are a lovely gift for someone with a new baby, or for a little girl as they come in sizes 3 months - 4 years. They can be knit in a more unisex style or boyish colour or with a picot edging for a girl.
Cabled Hats - this is a lovely hat knit with a chunky style yarn in your choice of colour. This comes in 3 sizes - 3-9 months, 1-3 years and kid-adult.
Aviatrix Hats - available in newborn through to 4 years plus sizes. Stylish winter hat (great too for kids that pull off their hats).

NOTE - I am able to knit any hat from Woolly Wormheads Wee Toppers collection, I have only knit these 3 as examples at the moment, but I am happy to take orders for any of the hats pictured on WW's site.
I love knitting little sets that go together too - nothing cuter than a child kitted out in matching hand knits. Here are a few sets that I've knit recently, but there are plenty of items that you can team together.

And a whole host of other combinations!
Prices
The prices really depend upon the item selected and the yarn you'd like. I am able to knit with any yarn you'd like though the more special the yarn, obviously, the more expensive the item. I do try and keep prices as low as possibly, sourcing my yarn for the best value I can.
I can also knit with yarn you provide - though check with me as there are some yarns that would be unsuited to certain projects and the ply is important so email me if you'd like to supply yarn for a project.
